What is that fascinating looking piece of architecture perched up at the end of The Rocks, blossoming with greenery and oozing ‘cool’?
It’s Greenhouse by Joost, of course.
Dutch-born architect Joost Bakker has brought his traveling eco-cafe to Sydney, after first embarking on the project in 2008. Entirely constructed out of recycled materials, this little gem will knock your organic socks off with its charm and attention to detail. Juices served in recycled jars, chairs held together with old aluminium pipes, tabletops assembled with unused advertising banners, the list goes on.
Our favourite part? The type-covered walls of course! And the homemade Lemonade.
It’s up and running until the end of March. So go and grab a beer before it disappears!
